Mood World
Try it yourself ↗Mood World asks for almost nothing — ten seconds, one tap: how do you feel today, 1 to 7? In return it shows you how your country is feeling against the rest of the world. I wanted something you could use every day without it ever feeling like a burden.
Then I added a small human layer — leave an anonymous note for the other people checking in that day, and like the ones that help. I expected the usual anonymous internet. Across 247 check-ins, people were almost unfailingly kind. That surprise is the whole story.
The full story — the notes strangers left each other, and the one faithful visitor from Switzerland who keeps it alive — is in the field note below.
So — was it useless?
